Bounce, 2011, 2-channel video installation with trampoline

In Bounce , we perform the same action in two different locations. Alan jumps on a mini-trampoline in Prospect Park near his apartment in Brooklyn, while Michael jumps at Belmont Harbor in Chicago. The audience is invited to jump on the trampoline in the gallery while watching the two-channel video.

Our Difference (in height and weight/in age), 2010, tungsten cube and silver sand timer

This metal cube was fabricated to measure our exact difference in height and weight. This sand timer measures our exact difference in age. These sculptures are tiny monuments to represent our objective difference.

Balancing, Levitating, Opening (two cans of beer), 2010, 3-channel video (video still)

In this video triptych two ordinary cans of beer are transformed into ephemeral sculptures through the act of drinking. The result is a series of poignant and playful studies of everyday objects imbued with a new life and form of their own. This piece reflects on the studio as a site for games, trials and tricks.
