Angus McCullough is designer and a maker whose practice dissects contemporary ideologies though extensive research and a multidisciplinary approach. He consistently works with landscapes, structures, vehicles and events - in both physical and ideological terms. Born in New York, NY, he attended Wesleyan University where he specialized in music, ancient Chinese Philosophy, and architecture (in that order). His work has been shown in the United States and abroad, including The Bronx Museum of the Arts (NY), the Bennington Museum (VT), Burlington City Arts (VT), Buoy gallery (ME), Roman Susan (IL), Judson Memorial Church (NY), and the Lust Gallery (Vienna, A). He has been an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio Center, VCCA, and ACRE and has been published in the NY Times, the Architectural Record, Landscape Architecture Magazine, Gwarlingo Press, and BF Bifocals. He currently lives and works.
