At Home Studio Visits

In Partnership with Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and FRONT International

As a response to the current landscape of mandatory physical distancing, we seek to unite artists, arts workers, and arts lovers through a digital studio visit program, the At Home Studio Visit Series. At Home brings the visit out of the physical studio space and into Zoom.

At present, we cannot gather around art. Artists have limited resources and are less likely to have access to or maintain their studios, so we are coming together around ideas in progress. This Friday evening series invites artists to share their practices and talk through their ideas with other individuals who value the generative possibilities of contemporary art. Submissions of all mediums, including but not limited to video and new media, are welcome.

At Home Studio Visits are public Zoom calls open to all, with the hope of developing relationships and connecting artists and arts workers across the country and internationally. The visits will take the format of a conversation between the artists, facilitators, and the public, inviting everyone to participate in a larger dialogue together.

Call for Artists

Welcome the world into your creative space by stepping into a new virtual studio visit series. At Home will feature Midwest artists talking about their work from ideation to fruition in a public forum moderated by contemporary art workers and curators. For complete details or to learn how you can be a participating artist in this exciting live program, see the attached application.

Don’t wait! While the deadline is rolling as the series unfolds, applications for the first At Home on June 5 are due June 1 at midnight.
